Yellow/Green Dress

I added little green turtle buttons to the top. You can't really see it in the photos, but there are little white flower buds with tiny green stems all over the fabric so the greens pick up those stems. I guess I'll have to give my daughter a camera if I'm ever going to get any picture's of my sweetie wearing these things. I have 2 more dresses to make and a couple of more nighties. It was so cute, she called me the other day and says "Hi Grandma! I like my stuff." And she has the cutest little pixie voice :) I miss my grandkids!!!

It's Spring Sewing Time

The sewing bug bites me every spring, this year it was a good thing because someone liked the outfits I made for Trinity soo much, they decided to steal them from the laundromat. I hope their little girl enjoys them as much as Trinity did. Even though they were sun dresses, she insisted on wearing them with turtlenecks and tights in the winter :) Bless her little heart, she sure knows how to melt this Grandma to goo. Here are the latest, 2 nightgowns and a pink dress. A yellow dress, just like this pink one needs to have the green ribbon attached and it will be ready for pictures too. I have 2 more dresses to go, the theives got the pink twirly dress, so I'm making another one out of lime greens and pinks. I'll put those pictures up when it's done too.
I also made E.J. a couple of pairs of flannel pj bottoms, but he has them in California right now. I guess I really don't have to take pictures of everything I make... I've missed posting a few knitted items as well. My need to brag, I mean inspire others, must be slowing down LOL!

Twirly Girl

This is another dress I made last summer for Trinity. She really likes this pattern because of the way it flares out. The blue daisy dress "makes a muffin" when she twirls :) This is a great pattern, she wore it all last summer, this spring and it looks like she will still be wearing it next summer too. I'm happy she likes it so much, she has requested a rainbow colored one.

Daisy Dress and Fish Print Capri Set

These outfits were made last summer, 2005. Trinity loves to twirl and loves dresses that flair out when she does it. The fabric has little white daisies all over it and the pink capri set is covered in little fishies. My daughter made the castle curtains for our little princess's bedroom.

and this is a better picture of the dress. Trinity's hair is straight as a board normally, so the curls came from sleeping all night on sponge rollers :)
